Sustainability Centered Operations
Sustainability may well be the "buzzword" of the new millennium, and while many organizations are incorporating some sustainable practices into their operations, very few put those principles at the center of the decision making process. Public gardens have a unique opportunity to create sustainability centered operations where every decision takes into consideration ways to reduce, reuse, and recycle in order to minimize the environmental footprint of the garden.
